Tournament director of the World Series of Poker Jack Effel said:
“There’s Van Gogh, Rembrandt, Picasso and Venét!”

“I took down a Neiman and put up a Venét”
- Steve Lott

“Venét is the real poker legend”
- Puggy  Pearson

“Venét has painted so many poker games, he is truly one of a kind!”
- Amarillo Slim

We spent a lot of time with Teddy Jane Binion, (wife of the legendary Benny Binion), while staying on the old side of the Horseshoe Hotel during the World Series of Poker.

She became like a mother to me. She would tell us all sorts of stories about the old days in Vegas, and Texas, and all about her family and their travels. She would come into our room and gaze at all of our poker paintings and say:

“I just love the colors Venét uses!”

And then she whispered in my ear, “Just hold on to them honey, they’ll be worth a fortune some day!”

Phil Laak commented about his portrait by Venét:
“That’s really cool!”

Jennifer Tilly commented about her Venét Game painting:
“Genius”

“Really sick!”
- Joe Cada said about the 2009 WSOP Venét painting.

- Doyle Brunson

“I got to have that, it goes with the win”
- Lyle Berman

Professional high stakes poker player, casino mogul and business man, Lyle Berman has also been a special client to us; besides purchasing several original Venét paintings, he also decorated the Grand Casinos in Biloxi and Gulfport Missippi with prints of Venét poker paintings. (Unfortunately, both casinos were destroyed by Katrina)
